Escape to Batam (1st Holi with Perfect 8)

Batam with my 10 years pals...

First overseas trip with them... Though not Perfect 8, still got 7 of us.. Andy cant bear to "abandon" his dragon boat peeps...

Sudden decision.. Next time, we can think BIG like BKK or TW...

We have different number of people everyday, every moment...

1 May 09 (Fri) - Day 1

Departure at TMFT: Connie, Poh, Mao Yun, Jun Hong, Chee Wei & Shi Ling

Ferry time: 4.20pm SING timing...

Connie this time never sleep on our way to Batam...

Reached Batam, cleared customs. Almost slipped when I going towards the checkign bag counter. Damn sway.. Luckily never fall down, if not malu.. Cox we're one of the few early birds to clear...

Poor Mao Yun need to detour back to SING, as his passport is less than 6 months before expiry... Its ok.. At least, you accompany us there.. Next time, we sure double check your passport de :D

REMINDER to all: Do check your passport if it is more than 6 months before it expires...

The fun begins here for a 4D3N or 3D2N stay for some of us...

By the time we settle down, it was dinner time :)

We booked a van and went to makan seafood :)

They took hours to serve us...

In the morning, They told me got a dark shadow pass by yesterday night, as I went to sleep first... I thought it was a Ghxxt... Haiz... It's the RAT...

Had hotel breakfast.. Very nice.. Buffet style....

Went back to the resort first and take pictures...

Sat near the resort while waiting for our 2nd van...

And went Nagoya Shopping....

Had A&W for lunch... It was not the taste I want.. Chicken very dry... Why their standard drop so much since my Dec 08 visit?

Shopped.. The best was still their supermarket...

Very cool... We bought 5 can of beers I think and they overlooked and charged us for 1can nia :)

Massage next, this time we chose scrub :)

After that, had chinese dinner... Food was quite salty....

Starting Perfect 8: Connie, JHong, Jackie, SL, CWei, Poh, MYun, Andy...

Jackie joined us after her flight...

We played Monopoly again....

Next, we play cards game and dice games...

Poor SL was the first to get drunk...

Breakfast with 2 energetic (Connie& SL), 4 Zoombies (Jackie, Poh, JHong & CWei)...
